We are a growing SME business seeking an experienced National Account Manager to take ownership of our key Wholesale accounts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive significant growth in a business where your contributions will directly shape our success.

Focusing on Wholesale channels, you will develop strategic partnerships, manage high-profile accounts, and play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint in this competitive sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management: Manage and grow key Wholesale accounts, ensuring the achievement of sales and profitability targets while building strong, long-term partnerships.

Channel Expertise: Utilize your deep understanding of the Wholesale sector to identify growth opportunities, optimize performance, and deliver tailored solutions for customers.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement account-specific strategies and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) that align with customer and company objectives.

Commercial Negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, trade terms, and promotional activity to maximize profitability and value creation for both parties.

Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and category management, to deliver seamless service and innovation.

Data-Driven Insights: Use performance data to monitor account health, forecast trends, and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Market Awareness: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to inform decision-making and drive proactive solutions.

Requirements

Experience: Proven success in a National Account Manager or similar role within the Wholesale channel, ideally within an SME or fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and drive revenue and profit growth through strong account management.

Relationship Builder: A natural communicator who excels at building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analysing sales data and market trends to develop actionable insights and strategies.
