As a National Account Manager, you will take ownership of managing one or more of the Top 4 UK grocery retailers (Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, or Morrisons). You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans that deliver revenue, volume, and profit growth for both the retailer and the business.
This is a highly visible role within the organization, offering significant exposure to senior stakeholders and the chance to lead on impactful, customer-facing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within assigned grocery accounts, becoming a trusted partner.
Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with overall business objectives and retailer goals.
Manage the full P&L for your accounts, ensuring delivery of revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for growth, drive category performance, and influence key decision-making.
Negotiate annual joint business plans (JBPs), promotional activity, and commercial agreements to ensure mutual success.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., category, marketing, and supply chain) to deliver tailored solutions for your customers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and shopper behaviors to stay ahead of industry dynamics.

Proven experience managing UK grocery accounts, ideally within the Top 4 (Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons).
Strong understanding of the grocery retail landscape, including JBP development and P&L management.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and use insights to inform strategy.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach to working.
